What you need

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp unsalted butter

fl oz olive oil cooking spray

tbsp granulated sugar

tsp ground cinnamon

cup water
egg

cup plain flour
Instructions
In a medium pot over medium heat, add in the water, butter, 1 tbsp sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium low, and add in the flour. Use a spatula to stir in the flour in until it’s all incorporated. Set the mixture into a mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly (about 5 minutes). Add in the vanilla extract and egg, and use an electric mixer or stand mixer to mix. Stop once the dough is evenly incorporated. Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray it with cooking spray. Place the dough into a piping bag with a large star tip. Squeeze out the churros, about 5 inches long each. Use scissors to cut the dough. Place the churros into the fridge for an hour. Preheat air fryer to 350°F and spray the basket with cooking spray. Spray the churros with cooking spray and place them onto the basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. On a plate, combine the remaining 2 tbsp sugar and cinnamon. Stir to mix, then roll the cooked churros in the sugar mixture. Serve churros and enjoy!View original recipe
