What you need

tsp black pepper

tsp onion powder
fl oz vegetable oil

tsp garlic powder

tbsp kosher salt

bunch fresh parsley

fl oz malt vinegar
lemon wedge

Kosher Dill

cup plain flour

dash hot sauce

cup italian seasoned bread crumbs

fl oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

cup mayonnaise

russet potato

tbsp olive oil

oz cod fish fillet
egg
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin French fry-shaped sticks. Line the basket of your air fryer with foil, then put the potatoes in. Drizzle on olive oil and a hefty sprinkle of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and old bay seasoning. Toss to evenly coat, then air fry at 400F for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and deep golden brown. Meanwhile, make the fish. Pat the cod dry. Set up a dredging station with 3 bowls — 1 bowl with the flour, 1 with the 2 eggs (whisked), and 1 with the bread crumbs. Season all 3 bowls with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and old bay… then stir to mix. The pieces of fish should be no more than about 6 inches long. Dredge each piece of fish in the flour, then the egg, then pack on plenty of the bread crumbs. Set aside. Heat about an inch and a half of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it reaches about 375F. Carefully drop the pieces of fish in one by one, and fry about 3 minutes per side, or until deep golden brown. Set aside on a cooling rack or paper towel-lined plate. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, pickles, lemon juice, and hot sauce. In another small bowl, pour in some malt vinegar. Serve the fried fish with the chips (French fries), tartar sauce, malt vinegar, lemon wedges, and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!View original recipe
