Best Ever Pan-Seared Steak with Ghee

What you need

tsp freshly cracked black pepper

tbsp ghee

steak

thyme sprigs

clove garlic clove
Instructions
Allow the steak to sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes, and pat it dry with paper towels. Season liberally with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a large stainless steel pan on medium-high heat. Add in the 4th & Heart Ghee to melt. Add in the steak & cook for about 5 minutes, then flip. In one corner of the skillet, add in the 4th & Heart Garlic Ghee, garlic, and thyme. Carefully use a cooking spoon to scoop up the butter mixture and baste it over the steak, allowing the steak to cook for about 2 more minutes, or until you’ve reached your desired doneness. Remove and set aside to rest. After the steak has rested for about 10 minutes, cut it into thin pieces and serve. Enjoy!View original recipe
