Crispy Heart-Shaped Sushi Waffles with Spicy Tuna

What you need

tbsp sesame oil

tsp salt

fl oz olive oil cooking spray

tbsp mirin

oz Furikake

tbsp rice vinegar

tbsp sriracha hot sauce
cup sushi rice

tbsp green onion

tbsp mayonnaise

oz tuna
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine cooked sushi rice with rice vinegar, sesame oil, mirin, and salt. Mix to evenly coat rice. Heat a small waffle maker and grease with cooking spray. Fill the waffle maker with half of the rice mixture, and cook in the waffle maker until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the other half of rice and set the rice waffles aside. Add the tuna to a cutting board and cut it into small cubes, then continue cutting until it’s a paste-like consistency. Top with sriracha, kewpie mayonnaise, green onions, and sesame seeds. Mix into the tuna. On the crispy rice waffles, place a thick layer of the spicy tuna mixture. Garnish with extra green onions and furikake seasoning. Enjoy!View original recipe
