What you need

tsp kosher salt
cup fresh parmesan cheese

lasagna sheets

white onion

tsp black pepper
lb lean ground beef

tbsp fresh basil

oz fresh mozzarella
oz Crushed Tomatoes

clove garlic clove

tsp red chili flakes

cup shredded mozzarella

tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add in diced onion and sauté, stirring frequently, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add in ground beef and cook until just slightly pink, about 7 minutes. Add in minced garlic, plus salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, and cook for about 1 minute. Add in crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer, allowing flavors to combine for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat. Meanwhile, cook the lasagna sheets according to package directions. Spray cooking spray in an 8x8 baking dish. Once lasagna is cooked, place one layer down on the dish. Top with about 1.5 cups of the meat and sauce mixture. Sprinkle on a hearty layer of shredded mozzarella, 4-6 slices of fresh mozzarella, and plenty of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Place another layer of lasagna on top, and repeat this process. Place the entire thing into the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until cheese is completely melted. Garnish with red pepper flakes and fresh basil. Enjoy!View original recipe
