A seasonal iced blueberry latte, perfect for enjoying the last of summer's blueberries before fall flavors arrive. This recipe includes making a blueberry lavender syrup from scratch.
1. Heat a medium to large nonstick pan over medium heat. Add in the blueberries and water and bring to a boil.
2. Once boiling, add in the sugar and edible lavender and stir. Allow to boil & reduce for about 10 minutes, until a thick syrupy consistency has formed.
3. Use a masher or other tool to squish the blueberries down.
4. Strain the blueberry mixer through a fine mesh sieve.
5. Store the remaining syrup in an airtight container.
6. Make the latte! Fill a cup with ice.
7. Add desired amount of blueberry syrup, followed by coffee and the milk of your choice.
8. Give it a gentle stir, and enjoy!
