Crispy Rice Sushi Donut

My most viral video EVER was the crispy rice waffle sushi mosaic I recently posted! 🤩 I’m glad everyone loves sushi as much as I do 🫶🏼🍣 this one is a twist on that - a crispy rice sushi DONUT! It’s a little messy to eat out of your hand lol but it’s super fun - recipe below ‼️

What you need

bunch scallion

fl oz olive oil cooking spray

tbsp rice wine vinegar

tsp salt

avocado
cup sushi rice

tbsp sesame oil

cucumber

tbsp mirin

oz salmon

oz fresh tuna
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine cooked sushi rice with 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, mirin, and salt. Mix to evenly coat rice. Spray cooking spray in a donut mold. Spread the rice mixture in the donut molds and press down so the donuts are tightly packed. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the rice is lightly golden - this helps the donut shape hold together better! Top the donuts with strips of tuna, salmon, cucumber, and avocado. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve with soy sauce and enjoy!View original recipe
