Chopped Italian Sandwich
Serves 420 mins prep0 mins cook
This sandwich took me to another dimension 🤤 I have a weird thing with sandwiches, idk why it’s so hard for me to eat them lol but when they’re CHOPPED… they’re heavenly 🫶🏼 also, these ingredients were heavily inspired by the Mr. G sandwich from @jpgraziano in Chicago (IYKYK!)

What you need

tsp black pepper

lb salami

cup fresh basil

cup truffle oil
lb soppressata

lb sharp cheddar

cup marinated artichokes

tbsp dijon mustard

lb prosciutto

tbsp balsamic vinegar

tbsp honey

tsp red chili flakes

sandwich bun

tbsp red wine vinegar
lb provolone

tsp oregano

lb romaine lettuce
Instructions
On a large cutting board, lay down the lettuce, provolone, salami, soppressata, prosciutto, sharp cheddar or Gouda, artichokes, and basil. Use a chefs knife to chop up all these ingredients together until they’re finely diced. Make the truffle balsamic vinaigrette: in a small bowl combine the mustard, balsamic vinegar, honey, truffle oil, plus salt and pepper to taste. Stir to mix, then pour the dressing over the chopped ingredients. Season the chopped ingredients with crushed red pepper, red wine vinegar, and oregano. Stir to mix. Serve the chopped mixture in the sandwich buns and enjoy!View original recipe
