BEST steak tutorial ever! 🥩🧑🏻🍳✍️ cuz it’s from my dad, who makes the best steaks in the world (in my unbiased opinion 😏). Lots of great tips from him in this video, and I wrote down the whole recipe below‼️ please let us know if you try this! 🫶🏼

What you need

tbsp kosher salt

bunch thyme sprigs

clove garlic clove

steak

tbsp salted butter
Instructions
Allow the steak to sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes, and pat it dry with paper towels. Season liberally with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a large stainless steel pan on medium-high heat. Place the fattiest part of the steak (usually the side) directly onto the skillet to render some of the fat. Once some fat has melted to coat the skillet, place the full steak down. Cook for about 5 minutes, then flip. In one corner of the skillet, add in the butter, garlic, and thyme. Carefully use a cooking spoon to scoop up the butter mixture and baste it over the steak, allowing the steak to cook for about 2 more minutes, or until you’ve reached your desired doneness. Remove and set aside to rest. After the steak has rested for about 10 minutes, cut it into thin pieces and serve. Enjoy!View original recipe
