What you need

white onion

tsp kosher salt

tsp freshly cracked black pepper

cup fresh basil leaves

tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

clove garlic clove
oz Crushed Tomatoes
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add in white onion and cook, stirring frequently, until softened and translucent, 5-7 minutes. Add in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add in crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Pour the sauce mixture into a blender and blend until very smooth. Pour back into the pot and add in the chopped basil. Pour all over your favorite pasta!View original recipe
