Make the garlic confit. Preheat oven to 250°F. Place garlic cloves in a small ramekin or baking dish, and pour in olive oil until they are fully submerged. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Cover the dish with a lid or foil. Bake for 2 hours, or until the garlic is golden brown and meltingly tender. Store cooled leftovers in refrigerator immediately. Eat within a few days. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef plus salt, pepper, and fresh garlic. Squeeze in about 2 tbsp Garlic Aioli and stir to evenly incorporate. Form the meat into burger patties and set on a plate. Heat a large pan over medium high. Add the burger patties and cook for about 5 minutes, until fully browned on that side. Flip and cook for about 3 minutes on the other side, or until your desired doneness is reached. Squeeze a thin layer of Garlic Aioli onto the inside of the burger buns. Heat a separate pan over medium and add the buns, aioli side-down. Cook until the buns are lightly browned. Plate the burgers. On half of the buns, add 5 of the garlic confit cloves and spread them out into a thin layer. On top of that, add a burger patty each, a squeeze of Garlic Aioli, a piece of lettuce, tomato, and some avocado slices. Close the burgers, serve, and enjoy!
