Cut the lemons and limes in half and then into thin slices. In an ice maker, layer them in a flower-like shape. Fill the ice cubes up about 1/2 the way with orange juice, then place into the freezer for at least 4 hours. When ready to make the margaritas, line the rims of the glasses you’re using with agave. Lay some kosher salt on a small plate and twist the rim of the glasses in the salt, to create salted rims. Next, fill a cocktail shaker with the tequila, juice from oranges and limes, agave, and a cup of ice. Shake well. Remove the lemon/lime ice cubes from the freezer and place around 5 into each margarita glass. Pour the margarita mixture into the glasses, about 2/3 of the way full. Top the glasses with some sparkling water. Serve and enjoy immediately!
