INGREDIENTS: 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed Cooking spray 1/2 honeycrisp apple, peeled and diced 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling 1 tablespoon caramel sauce Pinch flaky salt Vanilla ice cream, for serving RECIPE: 1. Use a small plate roughly the size of your waffle iron to cut out two circles in the puff pastry sheet. 2. Spray waffle iron with cooking spray. Lay one of the puff pastry circles down. 3. On top of the puff pastry circle, add in the apple pieces, sugar, cinnamon, caramel sauce, and flaky salt. Close the other puff pastry circle on top, then spray it with cooking spray. 4. Close the waffle iron and allow to cook until golden, about 10 minutes. 5. Carefully remove from waffle iron, cut into quarters, and serve with vanilla ice cream and extra sprinkles of cinnamon.
