Probably my favorite sandwich is a Cuban, so I whipped up these mini Cuban sandwich-style sliders 🥳 Super easy to make and good for serving a small group (or just go to town and eat them all like my parents did 😜) recipe below ‼️

Open the rolls to assemble the sandwiches. Spread about ½ tablespoon of yellow mustard on the other side of each roll. On the mayonnaise side, layer a piece of ham each plus a piece of swiss cheese each. Layer on three small dill pickle coins on top of the cheese, then top that with about 1.5 tablespoons each of the roasted pork. Close the sandwiches. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. On one side of the outside of each roll, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise. Place that side down on the skillet. Using a sandwich press or the bottom of another pan, press the sandwiches down and keep the weight on them. Cook with the press on top for about 5 minutes on that side. The cheese should be getting nice and melty, and the sandwich should be getting a nice golden sear. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the top outside of each sandwich, then carefully flip them. Cook and press on this side for about 5 minutes more, until both sides of the sandwich are golden brown. Remove from the skillet and serve immediately. Enjoy!
