Celebrate the Super Bowl with two distinct pasta sauces: a vibrant green kale pesto for the Eagles and a fiery red spicy arrabbiata for the Chiefs. Both recipes are designed to be tossed with your favorite pasta.

For Green Eagles Pasta (Kale Pesto): To a blender, add all the pesto ingredients. If it’s too thick, add more pasta water. Taste for seasoning. In a large pan over medium heat, add the cooked pasta and pour in the pesto sauce. Incorporate the pasta in the sauce and cook until just heated up. Serve pasta into bowls. For Red Chiefs Pasta (Spicy Arrabbiata): Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large pot over medium-high. Add in diced white onion and cook, stirring frequently, until softened and translucent, 5-7 minutes. Add in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add in tomato paste and cook until slightly darkened, about 3 minutes. Add in crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon Calabrian chilis, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add in the cooked pasta and stir to evenly coat. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan. Enjoy!
